Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
Location: North Burlington, NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team at Cigna in North Burlington, NJ. This role involves providing hands-on IT support in a pharmacy warehouse environment, requiring frequent walking and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting desktops, printers, scanners, and automation software, along with strong customer service skills.
Shift & Training:
- Training: Regular business hours (Monday - Friday) until fully trained.
- Permanent Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desk-side support for desktops, printers, scanners, shipping labels, and automation software.
- Receive and respond to IT support requests via radios.
- Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve password resets, network connectivity, and peripheral device issues.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of application servers, database servers, web servers, and storage devices.
- Work independently, managing and prioritizing tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with technical support teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 years of recent desk-side support experience with hands-on troubleshooting.
- Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting in a networked environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with IP telecommunication systems and networking switches.
- Experience with printers (Canon preferred), scanners, and mobile devices.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs as required.
- Jira experience is a plus.
