About The Role
REPORT TO: Head Sales and Marketing (Specialty Americas)
Role Purpose:
The role involves developing new business with existing and new customers, providing technical support to customers and channel partners.
The role also involves bringing in new insights on applications which we serve and feeds into new ideas by developing relationships across the value chain.
The role supports execution of sales strategy for Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico and LATAM). Responsibility for representing PCBL at various technical forums and supporting marketing activities for Specialty Black products in the USA, ensuring the achievement of product qualification targets and helping to build strong reputation for PCBL with customers and partners.
KEY RESULT AREAS:

Tech Support to customers and channel partners Regular interactions with technical departments of customers. Providing product recommendations, providing guidance on processing Own full evaluation end to end cycle Regular visits to customers and channel partners. # of new customers added # of qualification of new products
Provide regular feedback to internal teams on evaluations Regular and timely updates to the team. Own the BD process for Americas. Build professional working relationships with internal stakeholders – segment leads, tech leads, plants and QC teams Engagement Process
Quality Complaint Management Own the quality management process for Americas – understanding the complaint and working with internal stakeholders for resolution. Be the SPOC for all communications with customers with respect to quality # of QC issues resolved
Develop deeper expertise in carbon black application – plastics, inks, coatings, adhesives, sealants and batteries Regular trainings (internal and external) , interactions with value chain and self motivation for continuous learnings on carbon black applications. Expertise in identified end application.
Understand the regulatory landscape and provide feedback to internal stakeholders Continue to scan the regulatory and compliance landscape. Inform/ act on any change which impacts business. Regular scanning and internal stakeholder engagement
