About the Job
The role of the Field Engineer is to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent(s) in managing the subcontractors and suppliers on a project site.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
- Act as a representative and advocate of JPI's Culture and Guiding Principles.
- Observe how to manage a project.
- Update and monitor all construction documents with changes through Procore.
- Monitor jobsite work practices in accordance with OSHA, JPI Illness and Injury Prevention Program, and JPI Construction Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Record minutes for all construction field meetings and ensure all meeting minutes are accurately filed on Procore.
- Ensure that all subcontractors accurately complete and submit weekly safety toolbox topics.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of daily reports on Procore. Assistant Superintendents to input data and ensure accuracy of subcontractor daily logs.
- Develop, organize and track office documents as directed by Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Create, distribute and manage punch lists.
- Create, monitor, and distribute RFI's through Procore, maintain RFI log, and post RFI's to contract documents.
- Assist in creation, review, and distribution of submittals to construction and development department.
- Ensure project photos are taken and uploaded daily by all team members and labeled accordingly.
- Prepare and maintain all documents required for project close-out.

California General Base Pay Range
Note that the actual base pay offered will be contingent upon the candidate's overall experience, skills, internal existing associate equity and overall budget of the Company at the time of offer. The range is specific to base pay only. Additional compensation and / or bonus eligibility details will be shared by the Recruiter.
