As an Card Rewards, Benefits and Partner Revenue Controller within the Card and Connected Commerce Controller team, you will be performing a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting related to card rewards, benefit programs, and co-brand partners compensation. You will also provide expertise to business strategic initiatives and new product development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting, reporting, and analysis of card rewards and benefit programs, including substantiation of Rewards Liability and related external disclosures.
- Manage the Rewards Governance process by reviewing and validating the assumptions used to value Rewards cost.
- Oversee accounting for and calculation of contractual financial commitments to co-brand partners, including reporting and timely payment to external partners.
- Serve as Information Owner for the Revenue Sharing Application/SEAL ID engine used to calculate partner compensation.
- Provide accounting support to Card Business and CFO teams regarding new and existing co- brand partnerships, embedded benefits offers, and rewards programs; providing insight on accounting treatment, operational impacts, and feasibility to effectively support the product.
- Oversee submission of quarterly Network (VISA/MC) filing and accounting for and monitoring accuracy of fees and incentives associated with the Network contracts.
- Manage accounting for the Sapphire Lounges and external disclosures associated with this activity.
- Oversee the Chase Media Solution controllers team supporting the card-linked offers business
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- 10 years of Finance, Accounting, Financial reporting, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including a strong control mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and nurture a high-performing team.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Experience in Card business and Rewards programs preferred.
