DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop quantitative techniques and statistical models to identify and inform key financial risk factors associated with clients, transactions, and industry sub-sectors across an assigned portfolio. Develop and articulate a dynamic, forward-looking financial risk assessment of client companies, transactions, competitive threats, industry and other factors. Lead and participate in client due diligence meetings as necessary. Attend client and bank meetings. Use financial models to incorporate the impact of forward- looking risk assessment on key value drivers. Apply corporate finance and accounting expertise to develop appropriate financing structures. Analyze and negotiate covenants and other terms and conditions as part of a deal team. Work with bank examiners and internal credit reviewers to validate credit quality and integrity of the credit process. Assist in training and developing analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Credit Officer, Credit Risk Officer, Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst, Credit Underwriter or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Credit Officer, Credit Risk Officer, Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst, Credit Underwriter or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Financial Models in Excel; Credit Agreements; Risk management; Forecasting and modeling for stressed scenarios; derivative products; debt capital markets; pro-rata loans; direct lending; asset backed credit facilities; supply chain finance; treasury products; and Creating financial models including cash flow models, M&A models, dividend recap models, and leveraged buyout models.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 20% domestic travel to client sites.
