As a Product Director Transactional Credit Management within Liquidity and Account Solutions, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. The Transactional Credit Management (TCM) team is a newly formed global team that has a follow-the-sun model supporting the Payments organization. The team reports into the Head of Transactional Credit Management, and will be part of the Liquidity & Account Solutions (L&AS) organization within JPMorganChase Payments. The team functions as Subject Matter Experts across the payment verticals including but not limited to Liquidity & Account Solutions (L&AS), Clearing, Foreign Exchange, Receivables, Public Sector and Commercial Card and various technology platforms.
JPMorganChase Liquidity & Account Solutions (”L&AS”) works with global clients with complex cash management needs who operates across multiple countries, currencies, legal entities, and time zones, including multi-national corporations, high-growth technology companies, commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, central banks and broker dealers. Our advanced, end-to-end solutions which combine physical, notional and virtual techniques enable our clients to achieve visibility, control and optimization of working capital.
Job responsibilities
- Builds and leads the newly created global team, including location strategy and hiring
- Develops the framework, in alignment with Credit Management Standard, and operating model for managing transactional credit risk of non-Credit-managed/business-managed clients; oversees and drives the product roadmap, vision, development and execution of such framework and operating model and risk management
- Defines Payments’ transactional credit risk appetite and decisioning rules
- Develops, in partnership with Exposure Management, governance, monitoring and reporting on business rules and credit exposure relating to business-managed clients as well as approval grid and escalation process for exposure in excess of pre-defined thresholds.
- Partners with Credit Risk Management, L&AS Data & Analytics program and Product Development to execute tactical and strategic roadmap for data and tools to achieve and facilitate transaction decisioning and ongoing monitoring and mitigation of business-owned risks.
- Monitors credit exposure relating to non-Credit-managed clients and any relevant internal and external (including regulatory) factors and identifies opportunities for refinement of risk appetite, transaction credit decisioning rules and operating model
- Coaches and trains and mentors the TCM team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver and perform under the framework and operating model relating to non-Credit-managed clients
- Owns product performance (i.e. development and establishment of the framework and operating model for managing credit risk of non-Credit-managed clients) and is accountable for driving enhancements to achieve business objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products or projects, or transactional credit risk management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Proven ability to influence and drive the adoption of material changes in operating model
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Experience as people manager
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
