DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work with partners to build out sign on bonus offers for new customers and understand business impact. Meet with business partners to explain marginal financial benefit and impact. Build account forecast for products. Support acquisition marketing analytics for different card products to solve business problems and enable business growth. Perform segmentation analysis and customer profile or audience identification analysis, leveraging quantitative analysis techniques. Set up test and control, working closely with business execution team. Synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights and perform post implementation performance evaluation. Interact regularly with business units including risk management, finance, costing, and product owners to push forward the execution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Decision Scientist, Quantitative Risk Associate, Assistant Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Decision Scientist, Quantitative Risk Associate, Assistant Manager, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 2 years of experience with the following skills: Macro coding in SAS including using SQL commands in SAS to query large data sets; Querying large data sets through SQL commands; Analyzing data sets using pandas and NumPy; Building presentations for C-suite executives; Pivot tables using Lookup and Match functions; Excel macros; Analyzing large data sets with Excel; Visualization in Excel with different charts; Credit card experience at account and portfolio levels including PV, NPV, ROI and Payback Period concepts and impact on PnL; and designing and developing Tableau dashboards.
