Job Summary : The EMR Systems Trainer is responsible for carrying out all elements of training including planning, designing, development and implementation for designated applications. This position also develop proficiency measures for training and determine the appropriate training levels (time and delivery method) for individual users in designated application(s). The EMR Systems Trainer trains and serves as a resource for super users, and end users in designated application(s) while maintaining training curriculum and deliver ongoing education. Must build, maintain and test training environment.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities :
- Designs, writes, updates, and tests training curriculum including computer based training modules, to a broad range of end users using operational knowledge and experience.
- Trains end users. Facilitates Super User program. Coordinates training for Epic releases and updates.
- Provides end users support via service management software.
- Responsible for building, testing, and maintenance of training environments. Monitors system performance and troubleshoots training application issues.
- Creates, reviews, and revises computer-based learning modules.
- Assists with go-live support during EMR system implementation or updates.
- Performs analysis of workflows, data collection, report detains, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to identify organizational workflow improvement opportunities and assists in implementation and training.
- Assists with testing of software programs and materials used in training programs for completeness and accuracy.
- Participates in the evaluation of new releases, updates and reviewing Nova Notes.
