Job Title: Project Manager
Salary Range: 80,000 - 105,000
Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring that objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required standards. You will manage all aspects of the project from initiation to closeout, working closely with the project team and clients to ensure successful delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in pre-bid and project meetings, providing input and guidance
- Review project documentation within 48 hours of sale to fully understand scope and requirements
- Lead Pre-Construction meetings with a clear agenda, ensuring smooth coordination and communication
- Submit all necessary project documents on time and track their progress
- Prepare and distribute a comprehensive Job Foreman Packet before Pre-Construction meetings
- Work with the Superintendent to create a project plan and schedule at least one week before project start
- Coordinate material orders and verify quotes from suppliers
- Develop and confirm a Site Staging Plan and Material Delivery Schedule within 48 hours of material quote approval
- Ensure all necessary safety plans, hazard assessments, and sub-contract agreements are in place before project begins
- Secure all permits, insurance certificates, and bonds ahead of the project start date
- Approve material purchases to avoid delays
- Generate and submit change orders and RFIs within 48 hours of receiving a notice
- Track project progress, providing weekly reports on hours worked, materials installed, and customer issues
- Review and approve job costs, invoices, and budgets to stay on track financially
- Update project schedules weekly, making necessary adjustments
- Report project completion status to Accounting one week before billing date
- Provide regular, accurate project updates in internal Job Progress Meetings
- Communicate promptly with customers and general contractors, addressing issues within 24 hours
- Complete a Post-Job Evaluation and submit to management within one week of project completion
- Ensure timely submission of all Project Closeout documents and the prompt processing of warranty payments
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- OSHA 10 certification
- OSHA 30 or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols
- In-depth knowledge of general construction practices, codes, and standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and contracts
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Buildertrend, and Project Management Software (Procore, BIM360, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate core values of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience in construction or the trade industry
- PMP certification (preferred)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

- Must pass an initial drug test and participate in random drug testing
- Primarily an office environment (90%), with occasional fieldwork (10%)
- Ability to perform work at heights (e.g., rooftops)
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and walking
- Availability for overtime and weekend work when necessary
