Demolition Laborer

Requirements:

• Willingness to get the job done with a positive attitude and will to exceed expectations.
• Familiarity with skidsteers and other small equipment preferred.
• Ability to use a hammer, wheelbarrow, broom, wrecking bar, sledge hammer (10#), compacting equipment, shovel, rake, concrete moving hand tools, pumps, hoses, power tools, air tools, t-post driver, pick ax, chainsaw, or power washer.
• Familiar working alongside and within the vicinity of motorized equipment.
• Ability to communicate with operators, workers, and pedestrians.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or greater.
• Able to work on a ladder, platform, or scaffold.
• Able to follow verbal and/or written direction.
• Able to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Able to work at heights six feet and greater when provided safety equipment and training.
• Familiar with the operation of small engines.

Responsibilities:

• General Labor and daily housekeeping
• Install and remove temporary protection
• Support supervisors and project managers in daily activities
• Wreck concrete forms
• Loading and Unloading of materials
• Assist in repairing equipment and performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools.
• Clean occupied and soon to be occupied spaces
• Moving materials
• Must be able to work in a safe and effective manner while helping accomplish project tasks as directed by verbal or written communication without constant supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week

Experience:

• Construction: 3 years (Preferred)
• demolition: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
