Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
• Handle industrial cleaning duties, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Provide porter services as required, including moving furniture or equipment for events.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care practices and equipment operation is beneficial.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning environments is an advantage.
• Strong ability to maintain cleanliness standards while working independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.63 - $14.39 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
