Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on both residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as scrubbing the floor to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial environments as needed.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks to uphold safety standards in the workplace.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored safely after use.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including running scrubber machine.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
