Responsibilities: - Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors - Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops - Clean windows and glass surfaces - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary - Adhere to cleaning schedules and ensure all assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained Requirements: - Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred - Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed - Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus - Familiarity with industrial or commercial cleaning standards is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
