Process Improvement Analyst II

JR286 is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to join our team in Torrance, CA and drive process improvement efforts within the operations group for our distribution center and office areas. This position will collaborate with the operations group’s stakeholders to build processes, systems, training, and data professionalizing our operations with the goal of achieving optimal performance using real-time data and information readily available.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead process improvement efforts and manage assigned process improvement projects through processes, systems, training, and data for the operations of the JR286 Torrance, CA facilities including the distribution center (DC) and office areas
• Drive improvements in facilities management and safety processes inclusive of creating a data repository, leading performance management (including checklists), setting and managing to world-class service levels, developing live dashboards, and driving real-time communication of updates
• Identify, modify, and develop standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes and training opportunities
• Facilitate an excellent start-up on our new office space
• Determine optimal data storage and access for continuous improvement efforts including metric and dashboard creation and maintenance
• Develop methods for tracking and reporting distribution center and office key performance indicators
• Provide leadership with DC compliance for customer requirement and compliance to ISO 9001 and 14000
• Support JR286 Health and Safety Program development and implementation
• Complete and improve implementation of a formal root case corrective / preventative action system
• Ensure that work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good practices
• Participate in team meetings and provide on-site presence
• Maintain day-to-day status of projects
• Support DC and office operations management by supervising internal / external resources and ensuring effective operation of all the systems / processes so that stakeholders have all the necessary equipment and tools needed to perform their tasks and keep their customers delighted
• Other duties as assigned

What to Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications
• Data manipulation and management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Demonstrated ability to learn technical skills quickly
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
• Bilingual is a plus
