Join JRC's Maritime & Security Team!
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Administrator with demonstrated experience in managing travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with military travel policies, and providing exceptional support to personnel. In this role you will drive all travel for a mission critical program with the US Navy.

As a Travel Administrator with JRC, you will...

  • Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements and claims for military and civilian personnel, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Utilize the Defense Travel System (DTS) to process travel authorizations, vouchers, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements comply with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and other relevant policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to travelers regarding travel policies, procedures, and entitlements.
  • Submit, monitor and track travel expenses, ensuring accurate and timely processing of travel claims.
  • Maintain detailed records of travel arrangements and expenses for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in resolving travel-related issues and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge on travel regulations and policies.
  • Conduct training sessions, as needed, for staff/users of the use of DTS and compliance with JTR.
What you bring to the table...
  • 5 years of relevant government travel and travel regulation experience
  • A current DoD security clearance at the SECRET level or above (or have held a clearance in good standing in the past 2 years)
  • Expert level of knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using travel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle travel-related emergencies.
Bonus points for..
  • A certification in travel management or a related field.
  • An intermediate to expert level of experience with the MS Office Suite.
  • Executive Assistant and/or office administration experience.
