Position Overview:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator at JRF Enterprises LLC, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to assist in construction, excavation, grading, and site preparation projects. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks, maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes.
- Perform site preparation, trenching, grading, and excavation per project specifications.
- Load and transport materials efficiently and safely.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage.
- Collaborate with project managers, laborers, and other trades to maintain workflow.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grading requirements.
- Keep work areas clean and comply with environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or site development.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and best operating practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- MUST have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
