Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. Our work season is from approximately May 1st-October 15th.
Requirements:
-Expert level operating in excavators and skid steers
-A valid driver's license
-The ability to drive a pickup truck while hauling equipment
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Safely transport equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- General labor as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators and skid steers.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not required for this position.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to safety practices on construction sites.
