Accounts Receivable Position
1. Post invoices for all orders shipped the prior day.
2. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, & posting accounts receivables’ payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
3. Communicating with customers regarding their outstanding balances and payment deadlines
4. Generating statements to send to customers and dealers.
5. Go to post office to retrieve mail and drop off outgoing.
6. Daily bank deposits - remotely and at branch as needed.
7. Run reports for which customers owe money to the company.
8. Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis. Report to various managers- deposits and bank account balances.
9. Working on collections to review accounts, client payments, & credit history.
10. Verify discrepancies and help resolve clients’ billing issues.
11. Collaborating with the sales departments to resolve billing disputes.
12. Processing refunds and write-offs as needed as well as sending identified accounts out for collection.
Accounts Receivable Requirements:
· At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software. MAS/Sage Software experience a plus.
· Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
· High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
