We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee a property within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents and stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering positive relationships with tenants and staff.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards.
- Develop and implement property management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and operational expenses for each property.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including LIHTC requirements.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
- Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with facilities management teams to maintain property conditions and address maintenance requests efficiently.
- Provide administrative support related to real estate operations, including documentation and reporting.
- Utilize customer relationship management tools to track interactions with tenants and improve service delivery.
- Train, supervise, and mentor property staff to promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field, with a focus on administrative tasks in real estate.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
- Familiarity with OneSite or similar property management software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with tenants, staff, and vendors.
- A background in law or facilities management is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
