If you have extensive experience in automation, HVAC systems, and control panel wiring, we want YOU to be part of our team! You'll play a key role in installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and commissioning mechanical automation systems, including chillers, VAVs, RTUs, and more.
What You'll Do
- Lead Installations: Pull, route, and secure wiring for HVAC automation systems (chillers, VAVs, RTUs) and control wiring.
- PLC Control Panels: Mount, wire, and terminate PLC control panels, ensuring secure, labeled, and system-compliant connections.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for system configuration and installation.
- Troubleshooting & Commissioning: Diagnose, test, and commission PLC-controlled systems to ensure they run at peak performance.
- Control Devices: Install and wire valves, flow meters, temperature, and humidity sensors for automated HVAC systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to industry standards and codes (EIA, TIA, BICSI, NEC) during installations.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering teams, project managers, and other technicians to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior technicians on technical skills, safety procedures, and best practices.
- 3 years of experience in mechanical automation, including PLC control panel installations for HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in pulling and terminating control wiring, including CAT5/6.
- Strong background with HVAC systems, specifically chillers, VAVs, RTUs, and other related equipment.
- Solid understanding of control panel wiring, PLCs, and automation systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and implement complex technical blueprints and schematics.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills, especially for automated HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance codes (EIA, TIA, BICSI, NEC).
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
