We're currently seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team and play a critical role in fostering our strong safety culture.
What You'll Do :
As the Safety Manager , you will :
Develop and Maintain Safety Programs :
Create, implement, and manage company-wide safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, HR, and executive management.
Lead Training and Education :
Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
Design and deliver ongoing safety communications like lunch-and-learns.
Perform Site Inspections and Audits :
Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
Investigate and Manage Incidents :
Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses.
Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate Across Teams :
Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to promote safety awareness.
Advise on safety aspects during project planning and execution.
Manage Risk and Compliance :
Develop site-specific safety plans.
Maintain records of safety activities and incidents.
Continuously Improve Safety Culture :
Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and best practices.
Recommend and implement strategies to enhance safety.
What You Bring : Education :
B.S. degree in Environmental, Health, or Safety discipline preferred.
Experience :
5-7 years of related experience in construction safety.
Proficiency in OSHA standards, fall protection, PPE, LOTO, confined space, and other safety practices.
Proven success in developing and implementing safety programs.
Certifications :
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required).
CPR / First Aid certification; additional certifications (e.g., MAWP, PIT, ASP) are highly desirable.
Skills and Attributes :
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Working Conditions :
You'll primarily work on construction sites with exposure to various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required .
