Key Responsibilities
- Conduct demand planning and forecasting to enhance procurement strategies.
- Analyze historical USDA prices and forecasts, deriving actionable insights to inform pricing decisions.
- Monitor supply and demand trends, translating complex market fluctuations into clear recommendations for the procurement team.
- Leverage econometric models and statistical methods to refine forecasting accuracy and interpret market indexes.
- Design and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards for procurement and pricing data visualization.
- Manage and validate market data across all company entities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide technical support in database management, enabling seamless data operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Econometrics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, procurement, pricing, financial analysis, stock trader or a related role.
- Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, Qlik, MS Access and other data visualization and database management tools.
- Advanced MS Excel experience is preferred
- Technical expertise in data science, with preferred experience in financial trading or related fields.
- Familiarity with statistical models, moving averages, and demand planning methodologies.
- Experience analyzing market indexes and their implications on procurement and pricing.
- Background or interest in commodities is a plus.
