Title: Building Maintenance
Department(s): Maintenance
Reports to Operations Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic individual with a proven track record of accountability and results for the position of Building Maintenance. This person is responsible for maintaining the general condition of the interior and exterior of all properties. This includes managing cleanliness and order of warehouse, maintaining warehouse equipment – including but not limited to forklifts, scales, dock doors, production equipment, etc., building maintenance – including but not limited to roof, painting, plumbing, fence repair and maintenance of storage trailers. This person must have open communication with the Operations Manager daily to ensure that safety and security are a priority.
The ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously and without supervision. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a warehouse environment (hot/cold temperatures, dust, truck fumes, etc.). Is detail oriented and has the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage various task efficiently, demonstrating exceptional multitasking skills. Experience in working in a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work
- Familiar with preventative maintenance and service log record keeping
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Frequent lifting, climbing and carrying objects
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Understanding of safety guidelines and PPE requirements
