Part-Time MSP IT Support Engineer (Greenwich, CT – Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled MSP IT Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis for an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for a full-time 1099 transition. In this role, you'll provide IT support to end users, collaborate closely with our internal engineering team, and have opportunities for hands-on work with cutting-edge security and IT management tools.

While this role is primarily remote, the ideal candidate should be available to work from our Greenwich, CT office on occasion, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support and troubleshooting for end users in a managed services environment.
• Configure and manage IT systems, security tools, and integrations.
• Work closely with our internal engineering team to optimize infrastructure and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Okta and Addigy MDM.
• Familiarity with core MSP tools and platforms, including:
  • MDM Solutions: Addigy, MS Intune, Apple Business Manager
  • RMM & PSA Tools: Datto RMM, Autotask, ConnectWise Control
  • Security Tools: CyberCNS, Huntress, IronScales, CrowdStrike, ThreatLocker
  • Networking & SaaS: Cato Networks, Zscaler, Auvik, Prisma Browser, DoControl
  • Productivity Tools: Microsoft 365, Notion, Keeper Password Manager
  • Cloud & Identity Management: AWS, Beyond Identity, Drata, ConductorOne
  • Additional Platforms: ScalePad, Envoy, LionGard, ActivTrak Hubspot

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in MSP environments, with a solid understanding of IT engineering workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, security, and device management.
• Knowledge of tools like Datto RMM, Autotask, and Cato Networks or Zscaler.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also being a strong team collaborator.
• Comfortable with a hybrid work model, including occasional in-office presence in Greenwich, CT.

Contract Details

• Duration: 3 months (potential for full-time conversion).

• Location: Primarily remote, with some in-office presence in Greenwich, CT.
