Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Perform quality audits and document findings to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for accurate measurements.
- Fabricate and assemble parts as necessary while maintaining strict quality control measures.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits for compliance purposes.
- Assist in training team members on quality assurance practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality audits is essential.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
- Experience with Calypso software or similar quality inspection software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify defects and recommend improvements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability for quality outcomes.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
