What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician or Scribe position at JSRC?
IMMEDIATE OPENING
Candidate will have a positive attitude and friendly demeanor with patients and fellow staff members. Be treated like family, not a number.
Candidate is expected to work up patients including:
- Check vision
- Check eye pressure with Goldman application (will train)
- Enter history into electronic health record (MDI)
- Take specialized imaging of patients (OCT)
Candidate will also assist physician with preparing for in office procedures (lasers, injections) and scribing.
JSRC is a retina referral based practice with a warm environment and keen attention to patients and their experience. We have offices in West Long Branch and Manalapan, NJ.
Experience in eye care is required.
Car transportation required.
