What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die/Maker position at JST Corporation?
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the building, development and qualification of production die and mold tooling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, develop and qualify production die and mold tooling.
- Make replacement die and mold tooling.

Maintain shop equipment.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITES: -
Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years experience in related work.
- Technical school, CAD capability, NC programming capability a plus.
- Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings.
- Ability to set up and operate press machines.
- Die/Mold building and development, heat treating, machine build, product prototyping.

Must have proficiency in use of all tool room machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasionally may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:
Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Tool room/production area.
