Hours of Job
FT - Onsite
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
No weekends or holidays required
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Processes and follows-up on all assigned location insurance claims until proper reimbursement is received.
Monitors and reviews all denials and unpaid claims and take appropriate corrective action as necessary
Utilize telephone and various carrier websites as research tools to expedite resolution for issues
Review carrier manuals and websites for any new procedures implemented by carrier that are impacting claims
Consistently meet established completion times for claims / assignments
Makes all necessary corrections on assigned location claims for submission.
Processes mail and explanation of benefits related to assigned office locations.
Processes hard-copy billing, documenting amount and date sent on office’s information system.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Typing, basic math calculations, computer oriented, and good verbal skills.
Able to work without direct supervision, work well in a group setting.
Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
Ability to recall details and health insurance procedures / processes.
Education / Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Previous experience is preferred but not required.
