Summary / Purpose
The Business Analyst Specialist will work as a member of the Bearing Business Unit (BBU) Business Management team and will be responsible for providing broad support for this team. This person may lead or assist in the activities listed but are not limited to the following:
Analytics
Collect, cleanse, and analyze data from multiple sources to assess business conditions, trends and patterns.
Transform large datasets into clear, concise summaries and visualizations to aid strategic planning and decision-making.
Collect information from stakeholders to identify key business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
Deliver detailed functional and technical requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
Analyze historical data and apply predictive analytics to guide decisions and identify actionable next steps.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
Evaluate the potential impact and feasibility of proposed solutions, considering financial and business implications.
Assess current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization and propose solutions.
Present findings and recommend solutions to stakeholders, collaborating with various teams to implement changes.
Recommend data-driven solutions to address identified issues, including process improvements, system upgrades, or new technology implementations.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Support business quotations, tracking and reporting, and provide support for product pricing.
Aid in business planning activities.
Support product or customer portfolios, providing profitability analysis and tracking.
Facilitate price adjustment activities.
Collaborate with the business unit to define problems, collect and analyze data, and execute business decisions.
Review reports from various functions to enhance and standardize reporting processes.
Evaluate current business operations and data to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions and business cases.
Lead or collaborate with business management and other functions to implement changes.
Develop business cases for the use of AI, automation or other technology to enhance processes and eliminate non-value-added tasks.
Guide and mentor fellow analysts in best practice in data analytics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education. Bachelor’s Degree. Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or other analytical degrees preferred.
Experience
8 years solving complex analytical problems.
5 years contributing in a data analytics or business analytics role.
5 years working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
3 years of project management.
3 years implementing continuous improvement changes.
Skills
Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
Strong business acumen.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Self-starter and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong planning, organizational, and project completion skills.

Knowledge of AI and automation techniques and applications.
Experience with Oracle.
Experience with Nintex desired.
