Job Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Systems Installation Specialist to join our team at JTEKT North America. As a key member of our facility maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems for our physical structures and production equipment.
About the Role:
- Troubleshoot automated metal working machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Install and maintain electrical circuits for 120vac, 230vac, and 480vac, adhering to industrial electrical standards and local codes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot main switch gear panels, ensuring seamless operation of our electrical systems.
- Install and maintain all plant lighting, creating a safe and productive work environment.
- Maintain 1-line drawings for main electrical systems and trace individual circuits in panels, promoting efficient troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Assist other areas of facility maintenance when necessary, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
- Work within a team environment to achieve our current goal for facility maintenance, prioritizing collaboration and communication.
- Utilize computer systems to access work order systems and find repair parts, streamlining your workflow and increasing productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and contributing to a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years of related experience, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems installation and maintenance.
- Current South Carolina Master Electrician License is preferred.
