QUALITY LAB A - 3rd Shift

Summary/Purpose Follow Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instructions. Perform work in a systematic manner when possible to insure all steps are carried out in proper sequence. Adhere to Standard Work. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: Grinding Lab Pick up parts for measuring from production lines & returning parts to productions lines after measuringUnderstanding of Quality Standards & Check SheetsCheck Profiles Using Taper MachineCheck Roundness using RondcomCheck Surface Finish using SurfcomJudge profiles using Templates and or measuring scale (ruler)Judge angles using measuring scale (ruler)Measure Chamfers using L-ScaleMixing of Nitric Acid & Methanol to make Nitol Etch wearing the proper PPEInspect etched parts for burnKnowledge of Partial Pan StoreLab Techs are responsible for all 5-S and daily housekeeping duties. Perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment as required.Updating Monthly Accumulation LogTrain other associates / lab technicians as directed. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
