Project Manager -industrial electrical systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee engineering and construction projects with a primary focus on industrial electrical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors to achieve project goals and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:
2. • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for industrial electrical engineering and construction projects.
   • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
   • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
4. • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and construction personnel.
   • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure alignment on project goals.
   • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
5. Resource Management:
6. • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
   • Monitor procurement of industrial electrical components and systems to ensure timely delivery.
7. Technical Oversight:
8. • Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to industrial electrical standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE, OSHA).
   • Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems in industrial facilities.
9. Project Monitoring and Reporting:
10. • Track project progress, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
    • Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned reviews.
11. Regulatory Compliance:
12. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
    • Manage permits, inspections, and documentation as required for industrial projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in engineering and construction, with a strong emphasis on industrial electrical systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in manufacturing, energy, or related industrial sectors.
• Technical Skills:
• • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, automation, and instrumentation.
• Certifications: PMP certification preferred; additional certifications such as LEED, Six Sigma, or relevant technical credentials are a plus.

Work Environment:
