Job Description:
The Maintenance Scheduler/Planner is responsible for scheduling maintenance for the plant to assure optimum resources are utilized and maintained in order to meet Capacity and Long Term Planning requirements. The Scheduler/Planner will coordinate with Manufacturing and Business Development to ensure approved Maintenance commitments are met. Essential responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary contact for Production Lines regarding scheduling of maintenance for their areas.
- Meet with production representatives and department stake holders frequently to ensure efficiency of Maintenance activities.
- Be aware of the nuances of manufacturing on each Production Line taking those in to account when scheduling maintenance for each area.
- Run Long Term Prediction (LTP) scenarios to determine if and when additions to the Maintenance schedule can happen. Be able to effectively report options to management.
- Apprise appropriate management in a timely manner of all potential or actual problems in meeting the scheduled Maintenance plan.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure Production is able to support the plan.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, ethical practices and cGMP requirements.
- Work with Production Scheduling and Planning groups to create windows for Maintenance.
- Create material kits and tasks lists for WO’s.
- Review work notifications in SAP and generate monthly PM’s.
- High school diploma or Equivalent required.
- Project Plus Certification Desired
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Maintenance Trade required
- Complex reasoning and decision-making skills required, along with mid-level mathematics and computer skills.
- Critical Path Scheduling Method and Scheduling Tools experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude desired.
- Ability to read plant and production schedules preferred.
- Physical Requirements:Prolonged sitting required.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
