Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight:*
- Maintain daily program operations, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Supervise and mentor after-school program staff, providing guidance and
support.
- Develop an age-appropriate curriculum incorporating arts,
enrichment activities, and homework assistance.
- Plan and coordinate field trips and special events, ensuring proper safety
protocols and logistics.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, incidents, and other relevant program documentation.
- Safety and Supervision:*
- Implement and enforce JCCPA safety policies and procedures to ensure the
well-being of all children.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the facility and equipment.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, following established
protocols.
- Administer first aid as needed.
- Administrative Tasks:*
- Manage program supplies and inventory.
- Assist with program registration and enrollment.
- Prepare and submit program reports as required.
Qualifications:
Have a Bachelor's Degree (PREFERRED) in any field or an Associate’s Degree in any field of study listed in 606 CMR 7.09(19)(a)3.a. and have nine months of experience working with school age children; or
Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have two years of experience working with school age children.

- Experience in an art-related field or a passion for the arts is a plus.

Pay: $22.68 - $23.00 per hour
