The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Processing Specialist with food manufacturing experience in the Bourbonnais, IL area.
COMPENSATION : 65k to 80k
LOCATION : This is an onsite position (Not hybrid or Remote) in the Bourbonnais, IL area
RELOCATION : Local only (A small relo stipend for local relocation candidates)
MUST HAVE : Bachelors in some sort of food safety or equivalent work experience
MUST HAVE : 5 years in food manufacturing
MUST HAVE : Experience working with Nutrition Labeling Enforcement Act (NLEA)
MUST BE : A US Citizen or a Green Card holder
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate with all levels of manufacturing including R&D, Quality and Food Safety, etc
- Communicate with clients, review supplier information and investigate conformances issues
- Update SOPs
- Review of safety records and ensure compliance
- Review formulas and processing procedures
- Develop mixing instructions
- Conduct audits
- Oversee production roll outs for new products
- Ensures that the checklist for new product development is completed
- Creates nutrition label and ingredient statements (Ensure Nutrition Labeling Enforcement Act (NLEA)
- Maintains an orderly record of documents
- Conduct HACCP analysis
- Evaluate raw materials for recipe compliance
