Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

About the Role
The Judge Direct Placement is searching for an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to lead the warehouse operations team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the shipping and receiving functions, supervising a team of employees, and implementing inventory control measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the shipping and receiving operations to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Teach and develop team members on warehouse operations, including forklift driving certifications, equipment usage, and technical knowledge of warehouse systems.
• Develop and implement inventory control measures and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Guarantee precision, general warehouse maintenance, and productivity level by enforcing strict quality control measures.
• Evaluate daily shipment schedules and strategize a daily work schedule to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Manage distribution budgets, variable expenses, productivity, and cost per unit load.
• Lead the creation and execution of Food Safety Plans and Food Safety Fundamentals (HACCP, etc.).
• Supervise the creation, application, analysis, and maintenance of the SQF 2000 system while ensuring its integrity and sustainability.
• Collaborate with Divisional and Plant personnel to ensure effective implementation and preservation of the SQF 2000 System.
• Supervise warehouse employees to adhere to company procedures and policies, addressing disciplinary action as needed.
• Maintain all standards within the warehouse, adhering to SQF/QA, Sanitation, OSHA, and Inventory Control regulations.
