What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at Judge Direct Placement?
JDP is seeking a SQF Practitioner in Anderson, SC area! The candidate will be responsible for all food safety and SQF programs in the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute in plant procedures to achieve food safety and quality requirements
- Oversee compliance and maintain SQF systems
- Ensure ongoing compliance and certification
- Be the plants SQF certification contact, specifically during audits
- Assist in annual SQF audits, and develop and maintain an action plan following audits
- Verify employee food safety training is conducted in a timely manner with proper documentation
- Provide guidance & leadership where potential risks have been identified
- Follow all established programs, policies, and practices
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems
Requirements:
- Associates degree in the areas of food science or microbiology, dairy/bakery or food science
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to record testing data.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate issues
Salary : $18 - $25
