Job Title - Business Continuity Planning
Location- Dallas, TX (5 days a week on-site)
Business Continuity Planning Specialist is a Risk Management role in Engineering which will oversee Business Continuity Planning (BCP) across the core and regional Engineering division at GS. The BCP team provides a framework of policies, governance and minimum standards to ensure the firms' business and cyber resilience, and continuity of service is appropriately maintained.
In this capacity the individual will work closely with head of BCP Engineering to set strategic direction, design and implement business continuity plans for functions, people and applications across the Engineering division. Additionally, the Engineering BCP Specialist will work closely with Technology Infrastructure, Risk Management, Corporate Services and application development teams to coordinate (plan) and ensure the smooth execution of Technology (application and Infrastructure) events such as Cyber Recovery testing, Disaster Recovery testing, Recovery Strategy testing as well as work on projects to improve the effectiveness of such programs across all regions (Americas, Asia, India and EMEA).

- Understanding of Technology Risk domains: cyber security, business continuity, technology resilience, controls monitoring, risk assurance, and risk governance.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
- Willingness to work across time zones, including weekends/off hours for disaster recovery.
- Strong process and project management skills to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Excel, including macros, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
- Ability to develop creative and commercial solutions.
- Expertise in data analysis tools like Tableau and QlikView.
- Expertise in agile project management platforms like Jira and Confluence.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business resilience, shaping program strategy, and implementing program changes.
B. Preferred Qualifications
- Project management skills to coordinate multiple events.
- Experience with all stages of the SDLC and large systems production lifecycle.
- Desired certifications: CBCP, CBCI, PMP.
