Responsibilities:
- Develop and influence initiatives and resources for complex business and technical needs across Engineering.
- Consult on strategy and resolution of unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas.
- Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions that require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking.
- Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on innovative Engineering business solutions.
- Strategically engage with client personnel.
- 7 years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 7 years of experience in Technology, Data Engineering field in architecting, developing, end-to-end scalable data applications and data pipelines.
- 7 years of experience with Ab Initio development and ETL development.
- 5 years of experience implementing data solutions by adopting, recommending, and improving CICD, change management, data security, and auditing processes.
- Proficient with Ab Initio Co>Op System, GDE, Unix systems and scripting, GitHub.
- Proficient with Oracle, messaging systems like KAFKA or IBM MQ.
- Experienced with Ab Initio components that work with messaging systems like KAFKA.
- Familiar with Autosys.
- Converting database objects to JSON.
- Experienced with handling large volumes of data for batch processes.
- Experienced with performance tuning batch processes.
- Experienced with creating asynchronous micro batches for nonlinear batch processes.
