SAP Security Manager

Job Title: SAP Security Manager

About the Role: As an SAP Security Manager, you will lead and innovate within our SAP operations, driving critical strategic initiatives. This role offers high visibility with executive leadership and significant growth opportunities within a Fortune 500 company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enforce audit policies, controls, and procedures.
• Oversee regular security audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements (e.g., SOX).
• Lead a team of SAP Security Analysts, including both employees and contractors, to uphold SAP Security Standards and support ongoing projects.
• Prepare and present security reports to management and stakeholders.
• Manage contract relationships, staffing, metrics reviews, and invoice reconciliation processes with contracted resources.
• Support project teams and production environments, including recurring deliverables, audits, and after-hours support.
• Collaborate with IT teams to manage SAP infrastructure, meeting performance and uptime expectations.
• Manage SAP security projects (e.g., system upgrades, new functionality, patching, new implementations) and integrate security measures into new SAP applications and modules.
• Serve as an internal escalation point for technical issues related to SAP application security.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in an SAP Security environment (including ECC, CRM, EM, BW, S/4 HANA).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Security administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and executing security operations projects.
• At least 3 years of experience communicating technical and business issues to all management levels.
• Minimum 3 years of process improvement experience for operational support systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of managing hybrid integration solutions (Cloud/On-Premise).
• Proficiency in change management enablement via SAP Solution Manager/CHARM.
