PRIMARY PURPOSE :
Provides clerical services, instructional support and assists with the daily operation of the campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certification Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check

Maintain confidentiality at all timesUtilizes district programs to verify, tabulate, and record student information.Assist the campus administration, teachers, and / or staff in the preparation and management of instructional, clerical and program supportReceives telephone communications and telephone referrals, routes to the appropriate staff, and maintains an accurate log of each.Assist campus administration with use and / or maintenance of office equipmentPerform noon duty during lunch and after schoolAssist with switchboard as neededRelieve other auxiliary staff when necessaryAnswer the telephone in a pleasant mannerDispense supplies to the staff, distribute mail, faxes, and items from parent to studentsSubstitute for classrooms that are lacking a teacher until relief arrivesAssist with the printing and distribution of reports, interim progress reports, report cards including but not limited to : Add / Drop, Attendance Check Sheets, Class Rosters, Special programs, UIL Eligibility, etc.Assist with registration and textbook distributionActs as chaperone, as necessary, for college and career field tripsAssist with the Coordinate TSI / SAT / ACT registration, NCAA eligibility registrationAssist the campus in providing transportation, parking permit information to students, staff and / or parentsSupervise students as requested by campus administrationMaintain an orderly office areaAttend required in-service training sessions as well as individual training as determined by the principalPerform other duties as assigned, based on department needsMust complete designated district technology proficiencies each yearRequires a basic knowledge of technology / computer skillsAbility to use personal computer to access district programs, emails, and other resourcesMaintain a consistent professional demeanor and appearance.Ensure compliance with the Texas Educator's Code of EthicsDaily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the jobSupervisory Responsibilities :
Supervision and evaluation of District personnel is not a requirement of the position; however, the supervision of students is required.
