Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and seasoned Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our business, maintaining high standards of service, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role will be FOH GM with Events as a secondary role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the establishment, including catering, restaurant, and fine dining services.
- Assist lodging team with cottage bookings
- Utilize TOAST POS system effectively to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
- Supervise and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to onboard qualified staff members.
- Oversee food service management, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Assist in managing hotel operations when necessary.
- Demonstrate strong team management skills to foster a positive work environment.
-Book, manage and execute all events
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably as an General Manager.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus.
- Strong leadership abilities with a background in supervising teams effectively.
- Proficiency in interviewing techniques and talent acquisition strategies.
- Knowledge of food service management practices and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
-Proven experience in Event sales & execution including drafting and managing BEO
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fine dining establishments or upscale restaurants.
- Previous involvement in catering services.
- Familiarity with hotel operations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
