RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cultivate an ever-changing assortment of aesthetically-pleasing and delightfully-different rustic-style bakery selections (everything from cookies and cake to macarons and focaccia) that will appeal to guests with a variety of dietary needs and preferences (gluten-free, vegan, etc).
- Ensure top-tier taste, texture and aesthetic appeal in bakery product offerings.
- Keep our bakery/deli kitchen stocked with the freshest and best ingredients.
- Train, mentor and motivate bakery/deli staff, creating a kitchen environment where everyone thrives.
- Ensure effective inventory rotation and levels – maximizing product freshness, turnover and availability for sales.
- Consult creatively with customers and the catering team, bringing their carb and dessert dreams to life...on time.
- Respond to customer complaints or concerns with charm, confidence and a little extra powdered sugar.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts (preferred, not required)
- Proven experience managing a bakery (preferred, not required)
- Sound knowledge of baking techniques (required)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Excellent management, communication and customer service skills
PAY RANGE
$22-$28 per hour
Salary : $22 - $28
