Julie Billiart Schools is a network of schools serving children in grades K-8 with special learning challenges. Currently there are campuses in Akron, Lyndhurst, Westlake and Brecksville that offer unique learning environments for students with autism, ADD / ADHD, dyslexia and social learning challenges. We are Catholic, non-public schools that respect diverse faith traditions.
The Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth.
This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in accordance with Julie Billiart Schools and the Diocese of Cleveland policies.
The intervention specialist is expected to work cooperatively in a co-teach model, which consist of two intervention specialists as lead teachers of the classroom.
