We are seeking part time Courtesy Patrol to serve overnights.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Performs courtesy patrol and receptionist activities within well-established guidelines and assigned areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:
- Makes walking rounds as needed.
- Manages all assigned logs and reporting sheets.
- Monitors surveillance cameras throughout community, including exterior and interior cameras.
- Follows specific directions and protocols in order to manage emergency and maintenance situations as they occur or when notified.
- Manages incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette (professional, pleasant and sincere).
- Manage traffic through the security gates and log all names and times of entry.
- Provides general information for guest on campus including direction and notifying staff of visitors and vendors.
- Refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information to appropriate staff
- Assists families and visitors with concerns to the proper staff personnel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of standard office procedures such as using a computer, copying, faxing and typing.
- Must have the ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
- Must be able to properly lift minimum of 10 to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to make a decision based on job training.
- Must be able to perform essential job duties assigned.
- Job will require being able to focus on details and perform multiple tasks in a high stress environment when working with speed is essential.
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive task on a continuous basis.
- Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance after training period is completed and to do so without injury to oneself or other individuals.
