Are you passionate about sports and eager to make a positive impact on kids? Look no further! Our well-established recreational youth sports company, Jump Start Sports, is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic person to implement a wide variety of provided sports camp themes and activities for Summer Day Camp or evening/weekend sports programs in the Cleveland west suburbs.
Position: Sports Camp/Program Director
Location: Cleveland/West Suburbs
Type: Part-time, Flexible Schedule
Responsibilities:
As a Jump Start Sports Summer Camp/Program Director, you will play a crucial role in running engaging and creative programs tailored for children ages 3 to 12 years old. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing logistics, parent communication, and implementation of a fun and creative curriculum for campers and program participants.
Collaborating with other coaches to deliver fun and innovative sports activities.
Inspiring and motivating young athletes to develop their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while having fun in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Assisting in the setup and organization of sports equipment and facilities.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
Communicating effectively with parents/guardians regarding camp and program updates.
Contributing to a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends.
Previous coaching, teaching, or camp experience is a plus.
