Youth Camp Mentor – Summer Program
Location: Red Oak Camp – Kirtland, Ohio
Pay: $415 per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM (35 hours per week)
About Red Oak Camp
Red Oak Camp is dedicated to helping campers grow through outdoor exploration, adventure, and leadership development. Our summer programs include nature-based learning, outdoor skills, and fun team-building activities that challenge kids to think independently and work together.
Job Overview
As a Youth Camp Mentor, you will lead a small group of campers through their daily activities, serving as a positive role model and mentor. You’ll help campers navigate challenges, build friendships, and gain confidence in an encouraging environment.
Responsibilities
- Guide and supervise a group of 10-12 campers throughout the camp day.
- Foster teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
- Support campers in developing confidence and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with daily camp activities and transitions.
- Ensure camper safety and well-being at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for mentoring and working with children.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
