Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive camp curriculum that promotes learning, sports and personal development.
- Supervise camp staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective program delivery.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to align camp activities with higher education teaching objectives.
- Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to create a secure environment for all participants.
- Organize camp sports games, activities, events, and schedules to maximize camper engagement and enjoyment.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback from campers and staff, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all campers.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with students in an educational or camp setting is essential.
- Background in higher education teaching or education administration is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and campers alike.
