Description
Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent. Under supervision, incumbent directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths; supervises the maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment; and does related work as required. The Assistant Superintendent may serve in the Superintendent's capacity during his / her absence.

Assists / conducts the training of grounds personnel, community service works and volunteers.
- Supervises the daily duties of the groundskeepers, part-time / seasonal maintenance Workers, community service workers and volunteers.
- Communicates departmental policies, plans and procedures to those under his / her supervision.
- Assures that all tasks assigned are completed in a timely and professional manner with minimal disruption to golf course operations and / or to
public play.
Typical Qualifications
Graduation from High School or GED equivalent.
30 days of hire.
