What are the responsibilities and job description for the Formulation Chemist - Skincare position at June Jacobs Labs?
· Creates formulas independently and follow-ups on product stability in addition to being able to identify alternatives for reformulation purposes.
· Develops new and robust skin care formulations and processes as well as understands the relationship between formulation and production.
· Work closely with Regulatory, QC & Compliance to ensure FDA compliance for product formulation requirements.
· Handles multiple projects simultaneously and can work under tight deadlines.
· Develop expertise with our software systems, or other systems and platforms as may be required.
· Follow all GMP guidelines, SOPs and safety requirements.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus.
· 3 years of formulation experience.
· Working experience in developing innovative skin/hair/OTC products
· Thorough understanding of cosmetic raw materials and latest technologies
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Creative / Out-of-the-box thinker
